
The Wisconsin Hospital Association advocates on behalf of its 150+ nonprofit members on matters of public policy, as well as clinical and quality issues in the hospital-based healthcare field. Like most hospitals, its members struggle with staffing issues, and the association wanted to do something proactive to combat those shortages. So the association turned to Amperage for help with a targeted marketing campaign promoting careers with Wisconsin hospitals.
Our strategy: A digital media campaign targeting middle and high school students to show them the broad range of jobs available in Wisconsin hospitals.
The awareness campaign featured real hospital employees from across the state — both clinical and non-clinical staff to show the young audience all the possibilities. The intent was to catch students’ interest before they make decisions on what they want to do as adults.
Amperage developed a campaign theme — So Many Options — and set a campaign visual identity using bright, attractive colors, imagery of hospital employees who clearly enjoy their jobs and plenty of video, a popular medium with the age demographic.
