
Located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Kirkwood Community College provides an affordable education for thousands of students throughout Eastern Iowa. Higher education is a highly competitive market, though, and potential students have lots of choices. So Kirkwood turned to Amperage for help raising awareness and driving enrollment for the 2024-25 school year.
Our strategy: A multiplatform media strategy based on audience research to effectively target potential students in key audiences. The campaigns employed a drive to web strategy with targeted landing pages for adult learners, tuition-free students, parents, last chance campaigns and general awareness campaigns.
Platforms were broad in reach and scope, including social media; podcasts; search; Google ads; streaming TV and radio; broadcast TV, especially during must-watch broadcasts of the Paris Olympics and WNBA-Caitlin Clark games; geotargeted ads around high school state events; bus wraps; and venue advertising.
The client designed their own creative, and the Amperage media team deployed the campaign.
