
The Greater Cedar Valley Alliance & Chamber was committed to promoting and protecting the interests of its members in a five-county area encompassing Cedar Falls and Waterloo, Iowa. But informal feedback indicated that their brand value among stakeholders was low. After multiple phases of research confirmed low brand strength, power and understanding, Amperage helped the organization rebrand and position itself for the future.
Our strategy: research brand awareness, relevance and strength among key stakeholders, staff and board members, develop a new brand platform, execute a rollout plan for the new brand — and phaseout plan for the old brand — and conduct post-launch research to measure and verify results.
Amperage guided the Greater Cedar Valley Alliance & Chamber through a full rebrand to become Grow Cedar Valley, addressing low brand awareness and unclear positioning in the regional business community. Through research, strategy, a new name and identity and a phased rollout, we helped redefine the organization’s role and relevance. Post-launch research showed marked improvements across all brand perception metrics — clear evidence that the new brand resonated and re-established the organization’s value in the Cedar Valley.
