
Davis County Hospital & Clinics is a critical access hospital providing essential healthcare services in rural southeast Iowa. Located in Bloomfield, population 2,700, it serves the community within 30 miles of town. Davis County Hospital & Clinics came to Amperage looking to refresh its brand identity and implement a strategic marketing plan.
Goals for the marketing plan were to rebuild trust in healthcare while educating the community about available services. The audience ranged from young adults to senior citizens.
Our strategy: Use the new brand identity and clear, simple messaging in a variety of tactics to connect, inform and build trust with the audience. We recommended a television commercial, updates to the website, direct mail, refreshed environmental graphics in the hospital and paid and earned media. Amperage created a fresh campaign theme — Well Beyond Compare — along with the comprehensive marketing strategy and creative direction.
The client embraced the campaign and brand refresh, executing the plan as outlined and also implementing the new brand identity in the work they produce themselves.
